In January, we opened the largest indoor ropes adventure in the USA. Subsequently, the last weekend of March marked our Grand Opening Celebration with 4 days of fun and adventure for everyone. Thank you to all who participated in our Grand Opening events!
We kicked off the weekend with a Teen Night party to remember. Pizza, soda, snacks, an incredible adventure course scavenger hunt and raffle give-a-way’s all night long. Teens climbed our Zion course to the beats of DJ Repeatable. Because of the positive feedback we received, we are planning on making Teen Night a regular event so stay tuned for updates…
Saturday we opened up Zion Summit to kids typically too young to explore on our bigger course. Tiny Takeover allowed our young adventurers to climb Zion Summit with the help of their parents. This event was a great success and a lot of fun for parents with those adventurous little ones. Due to the success of Tiny Takeover, we hope to offer this event again soon and are considering some course changes to allow younger ages to participate on Zion without the assistance of a parent.
Climb & Wine
Sunday featured Climb & Wine with an amazing local winery, Walsh Family Wine. Our adult adventurers had the opportunity to climb and then experience some wine tasting to round out their experience. We are excited to partner with local wineries for future events and always excited to host local partners.
Our weekend fun ended on a Monday, which was a teacher work day for Loudoun County. We hosted a Parent Workday, giving parents a chance to set-up their mobile office at Summit Ropes and get some work done while their kids experienced the thrills of our ropes adventure. To top it off, Dunkin Donuts dropped by with their community cruiser to distribute some of their new seasonal flavored coffee.
